On March 30, the actor issued a video statement on her blog and opened up about her fight with Elvish. Manisha revealed that the dispute between the two started over a cover photo of a collaborative post.
Manisha Rani and Elvish Yadav were together in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ where the latter emerged as the winner. The two shared a great bond. However, later Manisha unfollowed Elvish on Instagram. In a new video, she claimed that the dispute between the two started over a cover photo of a collaborative post.
She said that even though Elvish was supposed to put one of his pictures with her, he disregarded it and rather published a post featuring him and Akshay Kumar.
“I did not like it when I saw the photo because the collaboration was between Elvish and me. That video was visible on both of our profiles. When it is on my profile, my photo should have been there too,” Manisha said.
Further, she mentioned that despite repeated requests from her team, Elvish refused to change the picture. “Elvish took the phone and said, ‘What is the problem? The cover photo will not be changed. Tell Manisha that whenever she collaborates next, she can put her family picture then’,” she added.
Manisha criticised Elvish's conduct as ‘egotistical’ and explained that she unfollowed the winner due to concerns about her "self-respect". She emphasised that using a picture featuring her was a matter of ‘common sense’. Furthermore, she stated her decision to terminate the 'Elvisha' fandom as their once-friendly relationship no longer exists.
